Watched the second Sally Lockhart mystery last night:

First off - Fred! ;_; That prolonged love scene sealed his fate, I knew it while watching it. Received my Flesh and Blood DVD in the mail today, and it works regardless of its region-2 status. (^-^) Technology may on occasion frustrate me royally but in the end it does not disappoint - a work-around will invariably exist (see: those mkv and mp4 files that made me curse Vista's existence work now - got the second Sally Lockhart special in ( Read more... )

I find that one of my favorite procrastinating behaviors once I've disabled my wireless is to, while studiously ignoring my open Word document, cycle through various desktop backgrounds for just that right picture (in a 9/R mood currently; it's a very frequent mood).  Which I never really find, but it's nice to look at all those pretty and/or funny ( Read more... )

Man, encoders work fast. I could never get a TW episode the same night it aired; usually had to wait till the afternoon of the next day. Yet, what, four hours after it aired in England, DW S4x02 is up. Earliest I've ever seen a domestic show (24) uploaded was 3 hours; shouldn't be too surprised, I suppose, seeing as how speed-subs of anime can come ( Read more... )
